ST. ALBANS -- Neither team wanted to give an inch when the BFA-St. Albans girls hockey team hosted Potsdam, N.Y. during the first round of the 16th Annual Christi Corrigan Blitz Tournament on Friday night. Both teams had their opportunities to take advantage throughout regulation, but skated to a 1-1 tie through three periods at Collins Perley.

The purpose of Green Mountain Sports is to provide another source of coverage for local student-athletes around the area that is free to view for readers. The plan is to have a good mix of stories about teams in the area as well as work on getting a podcast back up and running. The layout of the website is being updated as we go along, and may seem a little clunky at first, but we will work on getting the bugs figured out.
